NDP supporters urged to stop hurling cans of Orange Crush at Layton
Above: Enthusiastic NDP supporters have taken to throwing cans of Orange Crush at Jack Layton during rallies to show their passion for the leader - orange being the colour of the NDP. The leader, who is surging in polls, has only narrowly avoided injury by batting away full cans with his cane.
I actually thought this was for real. Then I enlarged the picture and realized it wasn’t.
